Executive Board Appointments Panel

The role of the Executive Board Appointments Panel is to assess candidates and identify those who complement the knowledge and skill sets of the elected members of the Executive Board to make recommendations on the appointment of the three appointed positions on the Executive Board.

The Panel consists of three members as follows:

• Sebastian Coe, World Athletics President
• Nawal El Moutawakel (MAR), as the Council Member
• Gordon Orlikow (CAN), as the Convenor and independent member

The period of appointment of the Panel is from 27 August 2023 through to the next Election Congress meeting in 2027.
