Cheboksary, RussiaThe second day of the AllRussian Championships in Cheboksary didn’t produce quite the expected highs though results were still very solid (Fri 24).
In Thursday’s qualifying rounds of the women’s 400m Antonina Krivoshapka had established a very good 49.29sec, a new U23 national record but in Friday’s final while she won again in brilliant fashion her time was slightly slower - 49.71 sec. But it was a high quality race with Anastasija Kapachinskaya second in 49.97. The third place was taken by Lyudmila Litvinova - 50.27.
The men’s one lap race was taken by Maxim Dyldin in 45.80sec. The second was Konstantin Svechkar - 46.20.
