Organisers of Athletissima have announced that 10 of the best vertical jumpers in the world will be in action at the IAAF Diamond League meeting in Lausanne on 5 July.

The six men who currently occupy the top six places in the men’s pole vault world rankings and the four men at the top of the women’s high jump world rankings will all be in action at the Stade Olympique de la Pontaise.

World record-holder Renaud Lavillenie, five times a winner in Lausanne, will be joined in the men’s pole vault by European champion and world leader Armand Duplantis and USA’s world champion Sam Kendricks, who has won twice in Lausanne.

Neutral athlete Mariya Lasitskene, who has dominated the women’s high jump for the past five years, will line up in her event alongside 2016 world indoor champion Vashti Cunningham of the USA.
