Facilities: The stadium comprises an eight lane synthetic track with a tribune. There are excellent facilities for horizontal jumps, high jump and the pole vault. There are also two runways for javelin, two shot put circles and a discus circle with safety cage. The Centre also has a wide range of equipment available for use which meets the IAAF regulations for competitions.
Accommodation: Athletes can be accommodated in either an apartment or a hostel.
Price:30 USD basic price (depending on level of accommodation; full board).
Other Facilities: A well equipped weights room is available at the stadium with two lifting platforms and more than ten strength training machines. A physiotherapy room with a qualified and experienced staff for elite sports is also on site and massage services during training and competitions are available.
Comments: Singapore is a city renowned for its night life and is considered by many to be a food paradise and being a metropolitan city you will find it has an exciting international atmosphere. Athletes and coaches will find it easy to blend into this multi-cultural society.
The transport system in Singapore is excellent, the mass transit rail system goes to every corner of the island.
There are also plenty of opportunities for competitions, not just in Singapore but also in the nearby regions of Malaysia, Thailand, Australia.
