The Ràvilya Àgletdinova Memorial meeting brought some good results in the Dinamo stadium today (14).
At the end of the competition a 4x100m relay squad from Belarus (Anastasy Shuljak, Natalya Safronnikova, Alena Neumiarzhitskaya, Aksana Drahun) clocked a time of 43.17.
The 2004 World Indoor 200m champion, Natalya Safronnikova, who is coming back to competition after maternity leave, was the fastest in the 200m - 23.43 - while Alena Neumiarzhitskaya won the women’s 100 m - 11.47.
All were surprised with 21-year-old Ksenia Priemka who triple jumped 14m twice, and, for the first time in her career. In the third attempt she established her new PB of 14.17m. Natalya Safronava, who only took two jumps registered 13.84m for second place. In the men’s competition Dmitry Detsuk won with his first attempt of 16.54m.
As always the Usovich sisters were supreme on the track. Ilona Usovich won the 400m – 51.71. Iryna Khliustava, came second, 52.12.
Sviatlana Usovich has decided to concentrate completely on the 800m and won in 2:00.88. Sviatlana Kovgan, formerly Klimkovich, was second (2:02.55), and the 2004 World Junior champion Natalya Koreyvo, was third (2.03.31).
Volha Krautsova from Mosti won the women’s 1500m in 4:10.95.
