The grand dame of world of sprints Merlene Ottey, the former Jamaican who now represents Slovenia, achieved very fast times at EAP Meeting in Donnas, Italy on Sunday (18).
Ottey was third in the 100m with 11.49, but the wind was +2.4. So no new masters' record in the category 45-50 years. But she was later fourth at 200m in 23.97 (+2.0) and that was a new masters' record. The former one in this age category was 25.56.
