Gold MedallistJACKSON, Colin (GBR)
"To come back to the world championships and to return to gold again is superb. I felt confident and I knew I was in excellent condition and that the key to my race would be to relax. It was a dramatic race for me and I knew it was vital to get out there and start well and keep my cool. That's what happened out there tonight. I wasn't sure if I would get under 13 seconds, it was just important for me to come out and win here."
Silver Medallist - GARCIA, Anier (CUB)
" I was confident before the race that a medal would be mine, either the gold or the bronze. However, last night in bed I was very nervous thinking about the final. To be honest I really didn't know which medal I had won as I had crossed the line. I thought I might just have taken the victory. I'm now going off to celebrate with my team mates."
Bronze Medallist - ROSS, Duane (USA)
"I feel terrible. I was too sloppy and hit too many hurdles, finally right at the last one. Looking at the time (13.12 PB) I can't be too unhappy though I came here wanting to win. I was right there with Jackson before all went wrong. I must get him the next time. This was my first outdoor championships, I was learning a lot and getting ready for the next year."
"Me siento fatal.
