Carolina Klüft, the World, Olympic and European champion in the women’s Heptathlon who has won the IAAF World Combined Events Challenge for the last four years will tackle the Long Jump at the IAAF permit meeting on 11 February.
Klüft who will turn 24-years-old on 2 February will Long Jump at the BW Bank meeting in Karlsruhe, Germany, and will be joined by fellow compatriots and European champions Susanna Kallur (110m Hurdles) and Christian Olsson (TJ) at the meeting.
Klüft who is also the reigning European Indoor Pentathlon champion has an indoor Long Jump best of 6.92m from when coming third in that individual discipline at the 2004 World Indoor Championships in Budapest. The jump was and remains a national record. Klüft has an outdoor personal best of 6.97m (2004).
