Irina Privalova back on the track

Yekaterinburg, Russia – Irina Privalova has made her first appearance of the new indoor season.

Privalova, the world record holder in the 50m (5.96) and 60m (6.92) indoors, had not competed since the World Championships in Seville, where she competed only in the first round of the 100m (11.45 for her second place in heat 2), before deciding to withdraw from the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay.

In the past days (7 january) Privalova competed twice in the 50m during a running-events only meeting in Yekaterinburg, which has a 150m track. Privalova clocked 6 seconds in the heat and 5.9 (manual timing) in the final, the same time as Irina Kabarova.
