Olympic medallists Noe Hernandez and Bernardo Segura lead the Mexican race walking team for the Olympic Games in Athens.
Hernandez (1:20:32), Segura (1:20:42) and the latter's cousin, Omar Segura (1:20:43), secured the nation's three spots in the 20km, after placing first, second and third, respectively at last weekend's Olympic 20km trials in Ciudad Victoria, in the state of Tamaulipas.
Hernandez, the Sydney silver medallist said -
"I am very excited to win again. There will always be ups and downs. I have progressively recovered from injuries. It was a very tactical race and we had to walk wisely to make the Olympic team."
