Three weeks before the start of the 28th European Athletics Indoor Championships, Madrid, Spain, 4-6 March 2005, over 20 television channels across Europe have expressed their intention to broadcast the event.
There will be at least 130 hours of coverage of the championships across Europe. Eurosport plans to broadcast 13 and a half hours of live action on each of their six channels and viewers of channels including the BBC in the UK, France 2/France 3, ARD in Germany as well as the host broadcaster TVE in Spain will also be able to enjoy live coverage.
