Morocco's World record holder, Olympic champion and currently IOC Member Hicham El Guerrouj is organizing a 10km road race in Tanger, north of Morocco.
“Tanger is the mirror of Morocco and Africa since it is the nearest city to Europe (14 Km). This city develops in a very quick and positive way so we decided to organize the race in order to be part of this development,” confirmed El Guerrouj.
The date is set for 6 May and it will be for men and women. He hopes to attract some of international runners to compete.
