Cuban Legend Ana Fidelia Quirot donated her 1997 World Championships winning bodysuit to the IAAF's Athletics for a Better World project.
Quirot, who acted as one of the key lecturers at the recent Marrakech Class of Future Champions, handed her memorabilia to the IAAF in Morocco prior to the 4th IAAF World Youth Championships.
Quirot memorably won the 800m at the 1995 and 1997 IAAF World Championships after suffering from a devastating domestic accident.
An Olympic bronze medallist in Barcelona 1992, she improved to silver in Atlanta 1996.
Between 1987 and 1990, she was undefeated in 39 successive 800m races.
Quirot's autographed bodysuit will be auctioned at the end of the season and all profits made will be donated to the United Nations Associations: FAO, UNICEF and WFP.
