IAAF Inside Athletics – Valerie Adams

The first episode of a brand new season of IAAF Inside Athletics is available to watch online now and features an exclusive interview with multiple world and Olympic champion Valerie Adams.

The New Zealander has dominated the shot put for more than a decade, winning two Olympic gold medals, four world titles and four world indoor titles between 2007 and 2014. She gave birth to her first child, a daughter named Kimoana, on 11 October 2017 and returned to action in 2018.

Adams recently announced that she will sit out the 2019 season as she is pregnant with her second child, but the 34-year-old intends to return in time for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
