Nebiolo invites the King of Spain to inaugurate 7th IAAF World Championships
The King of Spain, Juan Carlos I, today officially opened the conference of the Association of National Olympic Committees (Association des Comités Nationaux Olympiques- ACNO) in Seville. The conference groups representatives of the 197 national Olympic committees and is being attended by the President of the IOC, Juan Antonio Samaranch and the President of the IAAF and ASOIF (Association of Summer Olympic International Federations), Primo Nebiolo.

(1) After the inauguration, the King,   who was accompanied by Queen Sofia, met with the IAAF President and inspected with him the model of the future Olympic Stadium of Seville. The 60,000 covered seat stadium, which will incorporate excellent facilities for the electronic media and written press, will be completed in April next year and will host the 7th IAAF World Championships in Athletics from 20 to 29 August 1999.

King Juan Carlos accepted with pleasure Nebiolo's invitation to inaugurate the stadium next year.
