Follow every run, jump and throw – IAAF World Championships, Beijing 2015

The IAAF World Championships, Beijing 2015 gets under way in the Chinese capital on Saturday (22), and you can follow all the action on the IAAF website.

Live coverage

The IAAF website will bring you live results (in both English and Chinese) and up-to-the-minute updates on our live blog and IAAF twitter account.

If you’re on the go, you can download the IAAF app (available on Amazon appstore, Google Play or the App Store) to keep updated on all the results from Beijing. If you already have the app, be sure to download the latest update to benefit from all the features.

For the first time ever, there will be a live stream of the championships, accessible in 108 territories worldwide on the IAAF Live Stream YouTube Channel. There will also be a daily highlights programme of the IAAF World Championships, available in 130 territories.


Following our event-by-event previews, there will also be reports for every event, athlete features and a host of images added to the site.

SPIKES – through Twitter, Facebook and its home on the IAAF website – will add an extra dimension to the coverage, unearthing stories that you’d never hear anywhere else.

You can also follow each country throughout the competition, while in the athletes section you can filter all the entrants by name, country, discipline or gender.


The official statistics handbook is available as an online page-turning ebook, while in-depth biographies can be downloaded for men and women.

The records section not only displays the championship records, world leads and world records, but it also gives a complete break-down of records that are set in Beijing, from national and area records to world records.
