The eighth episode of this season's IAAF Inside Athletics is available to watch online now and features an exclusive interview with world U20 400m hurdles record-holder Sydney McLaughlin of the USA.
The 18-year-old has long been hailed as one of the most exciting prospects in the sport. Before winning the 2015 world U18 title, McLaughlin had set numerous age-group records across a range of disciplines. She made history in 2016 when she set her first world U20 record to qualify for the US Olympic team. She has since broken the world U20 400m hurdles record on several occasions, reducing it to 52.75 earlier this year.
