The 19th episode of the third season of IAAF Inside Athletics is available to watch online now and features an exclusive interview with Heike Drechsler, one of the greatest long jumpers ever.
Germany’s former world record-holder was the winner of two Olympic gold medals, two world titles and four European crowns, at both the continental indoor and outdoor championships.
She was also an outstanding sprinter, especially over 200m; at the longer sprint Drechsler set a world record and won a European title.
IAAF Inside Athletics is hosted by Trinidad and Tobago’s 1997 world 200m champion Ato Boldon, who is now an internationally respected broadcaster.
