After the huge success of the ‘Athletics Village’ in promoting the IAAF World Indoor Championships Sopot 2014 in recent months, the first stop on a brief national tour took place in Torun on Thursday (26).
The Village gives everyone, regardless of age or ability, the opportunity to test their speed on a treadmill or get acquainted with basic techniques of athletics events.
There is also a stretch of professional track which allows everyone to feel under their feet what a professional athlete experiences at the world’s most famous athletics events.
During the tour, fans will also have the opportunity to meet stars of Polish athletics including Anna Rogowska, Karolina Tymińska and Patryk Dobek, who are all medal hopes for upcoming IAAF World Indoor Championships Sopot 2014.
