| Colin Jackson (GBR), current European champion, achieved the world title once again (previous Stuttgart'93) in a very tight final. The mark was 13.04 after performing a clean race almost without hitting hurdles. With this timing the Briton betters his fourth place in the world ranking and maintains his first place among the Europeans this season. Second place was for Anier Garcia who, with 13.07, beat the Cuban record while American Duane Ross had to settle for the bronze medal (13.22). Schwarthoff (GER), in spite of being in his fourth world final, didn't make it to the podium again. |

Colin Jackson (GBR) actual campeon de Europa, volvio a
proclamarse campeon del Mundo (Stuttgart 93) en una final muy apretada. La marca fue de
13.04 tras realizar una carrera casi sin derribar vallas. Con esta marca el britanico
mejora su cuarto puesto en el ranking mundial de la temporada y se mantiene como el primer
europeo en el mismo. El segundo puesto fue para Anier Garcia, que con una marca de 13.07
batio el record de Cuba mientras que el americano Duane Ross tuvo que conformarse con la
medalla de bronce con una marca de 13.22. El aleman Schwarthoff volvio a quedarse sin
medalla a pesar de correr su cuarta final mundialista.   |
