Lasse Viren donated a bronze replica of the statue of himself which stands outside the Helsinki Olympic stadium to the IAAF.
Viren's miniature statue will be auctioned at the end of the season and all profits made will be donated to the United Nations Associations: FAO, UNICEF and WFP.
