World Athletics is seeking two additions to its Communications team.
Digital Rights & Innovation Manager
This role will join the World Athletics Communications Team and play a leading role in shaping the organisation’s digital video strategy and innovation agenda. Working under the supervision of the Head of Digital Media, the Digital Rights & Innovation Manager will oversee YouTube and World Athletics+ content strategy, manage relationships with digital and broadcast partners, and optimise the value and visibility of World Athletics’ digital rights. The role also includes performance monitoring, workflow innovation, and providing operational guidance to video editors and content teams, while contributing to editorial coverage at World Athletics Series events.

Social Media Editor
This role will join the World Athletics Communications Team and contribute to the growth and engagement of the organisation’s global social media presence. The Social Media Editor will develop and deliver multimedia content across World Athletics’ social platforms, monitor performance and industry trends, and engage with online communities to expand reach beyond core athletics audiences. The position also includes remote and on-site event coverage, contributing to editorial reporting and innovative digital formats that enhance the visibility and impact of the sport worldwide.
