Athletics Integrity Unit

The Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) is seeking applications for an analyst/investigator, a senior case manager and a paralegal.

As part of its programme of governance and integrity reforms, World Athletics established the independent AIU in April 2017. The role of the AIU is to protect the integrity of athletics. It does this through education and testing, and by investigating and prosecuting anti-doping rule violations and other breaches of integrity within the World Athletics Rules and Regulations including the Integrity Code of Conduct and Rules based on the World Anti-Doping Code.

The analyst/investigator will be responsible for conducting and reporting on investigations into potential or alleged breaches of the Integrity Code of Conduct and the anti-doping rules. Breaches are related to corruption and fraud matters, transfers of allegiance, age manipulation, outcome fixing and manipulation, sexual harassment, and doping.

The senior case manager has primary responsibility for the management of non-doping cases arising under the Integrity Code of Conduct but also, where appropriate, for non-analytical doping cases arising under the World Athletics Anti-Doping Rules.

The paralegal is responsible for assisting with all administrative aspects of the management of disciplinary cases arising under the World Athletics Anti-Doping Rules and/or the Integrity Code of Conduct.
