IAAF President and General Secretary to receive Birthday honours from Prince Rainier of Monaco
17 November 2000 - Prince Rainier III of Monaco is to honour the President and General Secretary of the IAAF on the occasion of his official birthday celebrations.
Both President Lamine Diack and General Secretary István Gyulai have been invited to receive the Silver Medal of Sports and Physical Education during a ceremony at Monaco’s Ministry of State on Friday, 17 November.
His Serene Highness Crown Prince Albert will present the decorations on behalf of the Monegasque Sovereign.
The headquarters of the International Amateur Athletic Federation have been located in the Principality of Monaco since 1993.
