With just 10 days to go before the start of the 29th European Athletics Indoor Championships in Birmingham (GBR), organisers have revealed that the event is a complete sell-out on Saturday and Sunday and that over 85% of Friday’s allocation of tickets have already been sold to the public.
The National Indoor Arena has a capacity of 5,000 spectators for each of the five sessions, meaning that a total of 25,000 tickets were made available.
The event will be covered by over 20 European broadcasters and an audience of millions throughout the world.
