IAAF World Challenge in Zagreb
The IAAF today announced the schedule for the 2019 IAAF World Challenge, its second-tier series of meetings that will take place in nine cities in nine countries on three continents.
Beginning with the Jamaica International Invitational in Kingston on 4 May, the series then travels to Bragança Paulista near Sao Paolo two weeks later before crossing the Pacific to Osaka for the Seiko Golden Grand Prix.
After a brief break, the series resumes in Europe with stops at some of the most famous competitions on the continent, including the Fanny Blankers Koen Games in Hengelo, the Paavo Nurmi Games in Turku and Ostrava's Golden Spike.
