The fourth edition of the Turin Marathon will take place on 18 April 2004. One of the top twenty marathons in the world, the Turin Marathon has reached great success year after year.
The three-hour live coverage on the third national channel (RAI) will give spectators around the country the possibility to enjoy the colours, the sounds and the emotions of thousands of people, coming from all over the world.
In addition to the Marathon race, the Turin organisers have included in the programme the “Maratonando”, a 7.5-kilometre non competitive race and the “Topolino Marathon”, a kids race, organised in co-operation with The Walt Disney Company.
These events will offer a beautiful view of the course that will pass through the Valentino Park. The passion and the folklore of over 40 music bands located in the heart of Turin and its hinterland will accompany the runners throughout the race.
