Szabo to be featured in Playboy magazine

16 January 2001 - Gabriela Szabo, 1999 Athlete of the Year and Olympic Champion in Sydney, will be the special appearance in next issue of the well-known life-style magazine Playboy, Romanian edition.
This surprising coverage includes an exclusive photoshoot with pictures taken in South Africa, where Szabo is training now and an in depth interview.
To be released on 24 January with a record circulation, this issue of Playboy will include the adventures of Gabriela Szabo in South Africa, a review of her accomplishments as an athlete and information on how she received a diplomatic passport.
Szabo also announces that after retiring from running, she will not remain in athletics as a coach, but will become the spokeswoman of a European drinks company.
