Due to an organisational renovation Finnish Athletics seeks to employ 4 national head coaches (sprints & hurdles, distance running, jumping events, throwing events), 2 national event coaches (javelin, combined events) and several high performance coaches (in all four event groups).

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
4 NATIONAL HEAD COACHES (sprints & hurdles, distance running, jumping events, throwing events)
In the fields of their own event groups, national head coaches are responsible for national team coaching, training camps, educating local coaches and producing coaching materials. They will also work as members in the Finnish Athletics' coaching board.

2 NATIONAL EVENT COACHES (javelin and combined events)
In the fields of their own events, national event coaches are responsible for national team coaching, training camps, educating local coaches and producing coaching materials. They will also co-operate with the Finnish Athletics’ coaching board and local coaching staff in clubs and regional organisations.

HIGH PERFORMANCE COACHES (multiple positions available in all event groups)
High performance coaches will be responsible for coaching in national training centres. They will also co-operate with the Finnish Athletics’ coaching board and local coaching staff in clubs and regional organisations.

REQUIREMENTS (for all positions):
- Educational background in coaching or related sports science, preferably a university degree.
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
- Experience and proven expertise in athletics coaching.
- Possibility to participate coaching on daily basis.
- Willingness to live in Finland and work in the National Training Center(s).
- Good spoken and written English language skills, other language skills are a plus.
- Strong vision and will to develop Finnish athletics towards international success.
