Olympic silver medallists Katie Moon and Daniel Roberts have been announced for the Millrose Games – a World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold meeting – in New York on 8 February.
Moon, the Tokyo Olympic pole vault champion, returns for her fifth Millrose Games and will be on the hunt for more success following her win in 2023. After that victory, she went on to claim the second of her two world titles in Budapest.
Her US compatriot Roberts will also be on the hunt for another win in New York. The world bronze medallist topped the 60m hurdles at the event in 2020 and claimed runner-up finishes in 2022 and 2024.
The women’s 60m hurdles will star the Olympic 100m hurdles champion Masai Russell.
They will be joined at the Armory by the previously announced Cole Hocker and Grant Fisher, who will go head-to-head in the 3000m.
Hocker claimed the 1500m title at the Paris 2024 Olympics, while Fisher claimed two bronze medals in the 5000m and 10,000m.
The first two names have also been announced for the INIT Indoor Meeting Karlsruhe, the fifth World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold event of 2025, taking place the day before the competition in New York.
Home sprint star Gina Luckenkemper will be among those competing and she will be joined at the Europahalle by her German compatriot, long jumper Mikaelle Assani.
