<h1>World Athletics Road Running Championships</h1>

<p>Every year, the World Athletics Road Running Championships transforms a host city into the road running capital of the world.</p>

<p>In its latest format, it is now a one-day event that comprises approximately 350 runners from about 55 countries in the world&rsquo;s most compelling half marathon and 5km road races, as well as offering very popular mass races.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>This event presents an excellent opportunity for hosts to harness the prevailing high demand and revenues attached to mass participation to strengthen its road running profile globally.</p>
