This extraordinary showcase will take center stage in the heart and home of the sport of track and field in the U.S: in Oregon, in Eugene, in Hayward Field at the University of Oregon.&nbsp;</span>&nbsp;</p>

Based in the fundamentals of running, jumping, and throwing, it&rsquo;s a sport made up of people of all different shapes, sizes, and strengths. Athletes of every gender, race, orientation, and background come together to perform on one field of play. The diversity of the sport is due in large part to the relative ease of accessing it. A pair of shoes. An open road, a path or pitch. A ring, a rock, or runway &ndash; there are many ways for a curious kid to discover their passion for track &amp; field. While gold medals and world records may be the sport&rsquo;s most prestigious awards, any track and field athlete at any level knows the glory in the feeling of a new &ldquo;personal best&rdquo; time or mark in their event. Each incredible World Athletics Championships competitor has a unique story to tell about their journey to the world stage, but they all share a simple common pursuit- embracing the challenge of what it means to find your best.</span>&nbsp;<br /><br /></p>
