Kids’ Athletics is one of the largest grassroot development programmes in with world of sport. It is implemented by more than 170 Member Federations (countries) and reaches an annual audience of over 1 million children and young people.
We believe that every child is born to move, play and explore no matter where they are in the world or their individual circumstances. We are aiming to use the power of athletics to inspire children and young people all over the world to get moving, be more active, develop their skills and confidence and to connect with sport and physical activity for life.
Developed by teachers, coaches and young people around the globe, Kids’ Athletics provides easy-to-use teaching resources and offers a uniquely fun, inspiring and quality experience for children and young people aged between four and 14. Activities develop movement skills that are fundamental to athletics through fun and social games, as well as offering opportunities to introduce athletics disciplines and competitive athletics in modified ways relevant to children.

7 May is Kids’ Athletics Day! An annual day dedicated to celebrating children and young people across the globe participating in athletics and being active.
