Media accreditation for World Athletics Ultimate Championship Budapest 26

 

The media accreditation system for the World Athletics Ultimate Championship Budapest 26 is now open. Access the media accreditation portal here.

All requests for media accreditation must be made online, and an access code is required to access the registration website. All media should consult the World Athletics Ultimate Championship Budapest 26 Media Accreditation Guidelines before applying. 

The deadline to apply for media accreditation is 31 July 2026.

 

How to get an access code

• Hungarian-based press and photographers
Accreditation access codes will be distributed by the Hungarian Athletics Federation.

• International press and photographers
Accreditation access codes will be distributed by the World Athletics member federation for each country. Requests for access codes should be made to the national federation of the country in which the headquarters of the media organisation is located.

• International agencies
Accreditation access codes will be provided by World Athletics.

Once you have your accreditation access code, you can begin the accreditation process by clicking here. First-time users will need to set up an account.

Upon registration, you will be able to:

• Apply for accreditation

• Request visa invitation letters

• Request media accommodation

• Upload travel details and documents

 

Non-rights holders

Non-rights holders should request accreditation through the World Athletics Series Broadcaster Accreditation System. Non-rights holders will need to set up an account if it is their first time requesting accreditation and then will use the same login details for subsequent access to the system. 

 

Individual content creators

Content creators wishing to cover this event for editorial purposes only may apply for accreditation here.
