Morris soars to Ultimate pole vault title in Budapest

Sandi Morris soared to her first outdoor global championship title, clearing 4.90m to claim the pole vault crown at the World Athletics Ultimate Championship Budapest 26 on Saturday (12).

After four silver medals at the World Championships and an Olympic silver to go with her two world indoor titles, the US 34-year-old added the inaugural Ultimate title to her impressive CV, winning ahead of Hana Moll.

Moll cleared the same height and finished second on countback ahead of Angelica Moser (4.85m).
