Orange and Blayney Accommodation
Bathurst is ideally located at the gateway to Central NSW where the Great Western Highway meets the Mid Western and Mitchell Highways. From Sydney Airport, Bathurst is less than a three-hour drive.

Australia Wide Coaches offer a daily service between Bathurst and Sydney. Stops include Sydney Central Railway Station, Sydney Domestic Airport and Sydney International Airport.
Services do not operate on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day.

Orange Buslines offer daily services between Bathurst and Orange.

With a flight time of just 50 minutes, FlyPelican operates direct flights between Sydney and Bathurst with 6 return flights per week Sunday to Friday, from the 31st October the flight schedule will increase to two return flights per day, Monday to Friday and 1 return flight on Sunday. Fares start from $149 one way.

The XPT Departs Sydney Central at 07:19 and arrives at Bathurst at 10:52. The Fare is approximately $40 one way in economy. The return XPT departs Bathurst at 17:05 and arrives in to Sydney Central Station at 20:42. Between approximately 09:00 to 17:00 Blue Mountains services from Sydney will terminate/commence at Katoomba and/or Mount Victoria.
There are 7 Intercity services from Sydney to Lithgow each weekday with a connecting coach to Bathurst. For passengers wanting the connecting coach from Lithgow to Bathurst, these need to be booked on 13 22 32. There are approx. 40 seats on each of these services. There is nothing extra to pay for the coach, it is included in the opal fare, however the seat on the coach still needs to be booked.
The express intercity trains knows as the “Bathurst Bullets” hold approximately 150 people. These are non-booked services using opal card/ credit card to tap on/off the service on the day of travel. There are two direct trains from Bathurst to Central in the mornings at 0546hrs and 0735hrs.There are also two direct trains from Central to Bathurst in the afternoons at 1505hrs and 1747hrs.
Due to planned trackwork between Blacktown and Lithgow, and Lithgow and Dubbo, buses and coaches will replace trains on these days

Moving people out of Bathurst and towards Sydney, there are also two coach and train connections. Buses depart from Bathurst at 11.55am and again at 2.55pm enroute from Bathurst to Lithgow and then connecting coach to Blacktown, where passengers can change for connecting trains to Sydney.
NSWT Intercity:
There are two different Intercity options on the Blue Mountains Line between Sydney and Bathurst. Train and coach connection, or the direct trains knows as the “Bathurst Bullets”, all Intercity services are primarily non-booked and tickets for these services are all by opal card / credit card. Free event day parking is available in the Public Parking area off Panorama Ave. This parking is a short walk to the event ticket gates. Entry to the main event site is over a pedestrian bridge and involves walking up stairs.
