Pre-sale for priority access tickets to the World Athletics Championships Tokyo 25 (WCH Tokyo 25) opens on Monday 5 August.
The Championships are set to take place from over nine days of thrilling athletics action from 13 - 21 September 2025 and will feature the world’s best athletes.
The official pre-sale will start on Monday, 5 August at 20:25 (JST) for those who are registered to receive priority access to tickets.
Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. This is the earliest opportunity to purchase tickets to the Championships and the Local Organising Committee is expecting high demand from both domestic and international fans.
A total of 700,000 tickets will be going on sale at accessible prices:
- 70% of tickets are priced at less than 10,000 JPY (66 USD).
- Tickets prices at 2,025 JPY (13 USD) tickets at every session for families and groups, including children, elderly or those with a disability.
Athletics fans from Japan and across the world can register to receive a purchase link at: https://worldathleticstokyo25.com/en/signup, which is the only official source to purchase tickets at present.

I urge everyone not to miss out on next year’s biggest global sporting event by registering for pre-sale tickets as soon as possible to guarantee your spot at the biggest sporting event of the year.”
WCH Tokyo 25 will be one of the biggest sporting events in the world in 2025. It will bring together almost 2,000 athletes from more than 200 countries who will compete in 14 sessions across 9 action-packed days.
