Sling it

Aim: To practise a discus throw with both dominant and non-dominant hands with one turn for distance. 

In this activity, participants take turns to throw a discus as far as possible into the throwing area, in each round the participant uses a different hand to throw the discus with a rotational throw. 

Participants should remember to keep balanced and an upright posture during the turn and to keep their throwing arm long rather than bending it.
