<p>Kids&rsquo; Athletics is a free and exciting programme to get children and young people across the world moving!&nbsp;The programme uses the power of athletics to inspire children and young people, wherever they are, to be more active, develop their skills and confidence, and to connect with the sport for life.</p>

<h2 style="color: #bd94ff;">What is Kids' Athletics?</h2>

<p>Kids&rsquo; Athletics is one of the biggest grassroots development programmes in the world of sport. It was created in 2002 and has been comprehensively reviewed and updated in 2021 and made available digitally to be even more inclusive, flexible, adaptable and fun for young people and practitioners.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The programme has been implemented by more than 150 Member Federations and has reached an estimated cumulative audience of more than 13 million children and young people.</p>

<p>Developed by coaches, teachers and young people around the globe, Kids&rsquo; Athletics offers a uniquely fun, inspiring and quality experience for children aged between four and 14.</p>

<p>Our Kids' Athletics values are respect, determination, friendship and pride. Children and young people are asked to reflect on these values throughout the programme.</p>

<p>Kids&rsquo; Athletics is for everyone because we are all born to move! Through a range of resources, we support a community of:</p>

<li style="list-style-type: disc;">Practitioners &ndash; all coaches, teachers, volunteers and parents who wish to involve children and young people in enjoyable athletics-type activities. This includes athletics-specific deliverers and those who deliver a range of sports and physical activities.</li>
<li style="list-style-type: disc;">Participants &ndash; all children and young people aged between four and 14. This includes those who take part in a variety of activities and those who have a specific interest in athletics.</li>

<p>Developed by teachers, coaches and young people around the globe, Kids&rsquo; Athletics provides easy-to-use teaching resources and offers a uniquely fun, inspiring and quality experience for children and young people aged between four and 14.&nbsp;Activities develop movement skills that are fundamental to athletics through fun and social games, as well as offering opportunities to introduce athletics disciplines and competitive athletics.&nbsp;</p>
