Aim: To run a mixed endurance race across different terrains and surfaces and chase the leader of the race as fast as possible.
In this activity, participants are in teams of 8, 4 participants from each team run 300m and the other 4 participants run a 600m distance.
Participants should remember to find a speed that they can maintain for the whole distance, avoid heel strike that will reduce speed and not risk time penalisties by shortening laps or missing handovers.
