Forward Throw

Aim: To practise a forward throw with a medicine ball for distance. 

In this activity, participants stand with their legs parallel, squat down and quickly extend their legs then arms to heave the medicine ball forward as far as they can into the throwing area. 

Participants should remember to keep both arms extended at release and to keep their back straight and tense when bending their knees.
