Fan Zone, where you can cheer, play and have fun

Spectators of the World Athletics Championships won't have a dull moment between races, thanks to the presence of two fan zones. The Fan Zone within the stadium park is exclusively accessible to those holding a valid ticket or package for the World Championships. All visitors will have the opportunity to partake in various athletics-related games. Enthusiastic participants will have a chance to win prizes at the end of these games. Additionally, a range of exclusive World Champs souvenirs will be available for purchase.

The opening hours of the Fan Zone will be adjusted daily to coincide with the World Championships schedule. For instance, on the opening day, 19 August, the gates will open at 8.30 am and remain open until midnight for entry.

In the downtown area, another Fan Zone will be set up at the bustling Erzsébet Square in Budapest. It welcomes anyone interested in athletics or wishing to follow the events of the World Championships. This zone will also host games and offer prizes, along with a selection of T-shirts, water bottles, and mugs featuring the WCH Budapest 23 logo.

The downtown zone will open four days before the start of the World Championships on 15 August, commencing from 9 am that morning.
