Aim: To practise body and spatial awareness, agility, balance and coordination through long jumping with a pole.
This activity encourages participants to control their run-up speed to make their jumps easier, while holding onto the pole and avoiding rotations in the air.
Participants use a pole to jump and clear the target line in front of them. They run towards the pole plant zone, to the take off from one leg and 'ride' the pole over the target line.
