Aim: To practise a single-arm medicine ball push over a barrier from a standing position using both dominant and non-dominant arms.
In this activity, participants take a back or side stance towards the throwing area and perform a single-arm push over a barrier. Each participant has one attempt with each arm.
Participants should remember to not grip the shot like a ball, use the explosive power from their legs and keep their balance to avoid stepping over the foul line.
