The most successful nation in World Athletics Championships history and hosts of the next World Athletics Championships in Oregon have thrown their support behind the Global Conversation.
USA Track and Field (USATF) have urged the American athletics community to participate in the survey and help shape the future direction of the sport for the next decade.
USA is steeped in athletics history with some of the sport’s most iconic names such as Jesse Owens, Bob Beamon and Allyson Felix representing the stars and stripes with such distinction on the global stage.
The country has also hosted four Olympic Games (St Louis 1904, Los Angeles 1932 and 1984, Atlanta 1996) – more than any other nation – and with events like the New York, Boston and Chicago marathons, organises some of the planet’s most successful mass-participation events.
But now, USATF is urging athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, supporters, event organisers, partners, media, schools and anyone with an interest in the sport to turn their attention to the future to help set a roadmap for growth and development of athletics through to 2030.
To have your say in the future of the sport, please complete the survey today.
