The champion of the 100 meters in the World Championship of Athletics under 20 Cali 22 is compared in all languages with the record holder and recognized Usain Bolt, who holds the absolute world record in this modality with the mark of 9.58 seconds, achieved in Berlin, 2009 (senior category).

The web portals of the different hemispheres of the world are full of information about the new star of athletics, the Botswana Letsile Tebogo, who registered 9.91 seconds in the tracks of the Pascual Guerrero Olympic Stadium to win the gold medal, after a race in which from the beginning he was several meters ahead of his rivals and crossed the finish line with a particular gesture that caught everyone's attention, alluding to the impressive Usain Bolt when he was still competing.

"My intention was to go out and enjoy the race. If anyone took that as disrespect, I'm sorry. I just wanted to offer the fans a mild reminder of what Usain Bolt did in his time," commented the 19-year-old, who was referring to the fact that the last 20 meters for some was fun, for others he humiliated his rivals and for others it was unsportsmanlike, not running at his top speed.

"He is my idol (Bolt), the person I admire" affirmed the U20 champion, who is discovered before the world after competing in the qualified and consolidated stage of athletics located in Cali, Colombia.

Thus, the fans of the multidisciplinary sport were able to enjoy a surprising spectacle, where the first great strides of a possible future Olympic champion in Paris 2024 were marked.

In addition, as it was a news of such particularity and importance in world sport, the general public of the various cultures and societies of the globe became aware of what happened in "La Sucursal del Cielo".

Through countless media, the data or characteristics concerning both the young African, Letsile Tebogo, and the Jamaican milestone, Usain Bolt, were exposed to outline a comparative of the two figures of different times.

It is possible to find informative channels through the Internet that speak in local languages about this social phenomenon called "The new Usain Bolt", from places like China, Canada, Thailand, France, Spain, Africa and America.

Cali continues to be the cradle of the stars of world athletics, as it had already demonstrated in the World Championship of Athletics under 18 with the cases of Armand Duplantis (pole vault) and Sydney Mclaughlin (400 meters hurdles), both current Olympic champions and world records in their specialties.

In addition to this, Candace Hill also made world record in 200 meters flat in Cali 2015.

And 50 years ago, in 1971 at the Pan American Games, Donald Quarrie in 200 meters flat with 19.80 and Pedro Perez Dueñas in triple jump with 17.40 meters, made world record in Cali.

Therefore, the Olympic Pascual Guerrero has become the "mythical" world stadium with 5 world records and 3 current figures of global athletics (Armand Duplantis, Sydney Mclaughlin and Letsile Tebogo).
