Do you want to buy or sell a bib for the World Athletics Road Running Championships Copenhagen 26?
Then you've come to the right place. On our Resale Platform, buyers and sellers can connect and complete transfers in a safe and secure way.
As a buyer, you can sign up for our Waiting Pool for free. When someone puts their bib up for sale, a random name is drawn from the Waiting Pool and offered the chance to buy the bib. If that person does not complete the purchase within 24 hours, the opportunity moves on to the next person in the Waiting Pool.
At the same time, if you do not complete the purchase within 24 hours, your name will be removed from the Waiting Pool, as we take it as a sign that you are no longer interested in participating. You can always sign up for the Waiting Pool again.
Be aware, that when you sign up for the Waiting Pool, you have to register with your name and email. The name you write for the Waiting Pool, will also be the name that is printed on your bib. It will not be possible to change the name at a later point. Same goes for the email, meaning that the email address you sign up with will also be the email where you receive all participant information, and it will not be possible to change this email at a later point.
If you know someone who wants to transfer their bib directly to you, this is also an option. See steps 1 and 2 in the section for sellers below.
Please note, it is free to sign up to the Waiting Pool, meaning no payment is required unless you are offered to purchase a bib. If you are offered to purchase a bib, a standard administration fee of DKK 20 will be added to the price of the bib. Thus, the total costs of purchasing a bib through the Waiting Pool will be DKK 20 + DKK 799 = DKK 819. This is the same price, at which sellers in the originally purchased their bib.

Do you have a bib you no longer need? Then you have several options for passing it on.
First click the button in your confirmation email labelled 'Access your entry'.
If you cannot find your confirmation email, an email was also sent out when the resale platform opened on May 1, 2026, informing you that you now have the option to put your bib up for sale. This email also contains a link to your dashboard.
Please note that you are only eligible to sell your bib if you purchased it in the normal way and did not, for example, win it in a competition or receive it as a gift from your employer.
When viewing the dashboard in your participant profile, you have two options to transfer your bib.
1. Transfer your bib to someone you've made an agreement with
You can sell your bib to someone you know. All you need is their email address. The buyer will then receive an email from us with instructions on how to pay and take over the bib.
Please note, a transfer fee of DKK 160 applies, which must be paid by the seller. This will be deducted from the amount that is refunded to the seller when the bib has been purchased by the new runner.
It is possible to withdraw the transfer to someone you know as long as they have not completed the purchase of your bib yet. If you wish to withdraw, simply click the 'Cancel' button in your dashboard under 'Transfer to someone you know' and then the person will not be able to purchase your bib through the link they have received. There is no deadline in which the person receiving your invitation to purchase your bib has to complete the purchase, but once the bib is purchased, the transfer is binding and cannot be revoked.
2. Resell your bib through our Waiting Pool
You can also put your race number up for sale through the Waiting Pool, which is a list of people interested in buying a WRRC Copenhagen 26 bib. The bib will then be offered to a random person in the Waiting Pool, who has 24 hours to complete the purchase. If they do not complete the purchase within the 24 hours, we automatically select a new person from the Waiting Pool. This process continues until your bib is sold. However, the organiser cannot guarantee that your bib will be sold, as this is subject to supply and demand.
Please note, a transfer fee of DKK 160 applies, which must be paid by the seller. This will be deducted from the amount that is refunded to the seller when the bib has been purchased by the new runner.
Be aware that you cannot withdraw the bib from the Waiting Pool once you have decided to put it up for sale. Even if it is not purchased by someone else.
If you are part of a team registration:
It is possible to sell individual bibs from a team registration. The runner who is no longer able to participate should follow the instructions above and go to their dashboard, where they can choose between transferring to someone they know or selling through the Waiting Pool. Be aware, the team captain, who originally made the payment, will be the one to receive the refund if or when the bib is sold to a buyer. If a bib is sold from a team registration, that bib then becomes independent from the original team. Thus, the team does not need to coordinate anything with the new runner in the future.
Please note, a transfer fee of DKK 160 applies, which must be paid by the seller. This will be deducted from the amount that is refunded to the seller when the bib has been purchased by the new runner.
However, the organiser cannot guarantee that the bib will be sold as this is subject to supply and demand.
If you choose to sell your bib through the Waiting Pool, you cannot withdraw it or change the price. It is also not possible to change the method of exchange. So, if you choose to put the bib up for sale through the Waiting Pool, you cannot withdraw it from the Waiting Pool and transfer it directly to someone you know instead. However, if you choose to transfer your bib to someone you know, it will be possible to withdraw the bib, as long as they have not completed the purchase of your bib yet. When transferring to someone you know, there is no deadline in which the person receiving your invitation to purchase your bib has to complete the purchase, but once the bib is purchased, the transfer is binding and cannot be revoked.
It is not possible to choose your own price. All bibs will be listed at DKK 799 - same price as when the bib was originally purchased.
A transfer fee of DKK 160 applies to all bib transfers - both to a known buyer and through the Waiting Pool. The seller pays this fee, and it is deducted from the selling price before the remaining amount is transferred to the seller.
A standard administration fee of DKK 20 will be added to all purchases - this fee is paid by the buyer.

I was selected in the Waiting Pool, but I didn't complete the purchase in time. What now?
If you are selected and given the chance to buy a bib, but do not complete the purchase within 24 hours, you lose your opportunity to buy the bib. Instead, the bib will be offered to another person in the Waiting Pool, and your name will automatically be removed from the list.
You can always sign up for the Waiting Pool again if you want another chance.
Am I allowed to have multiple entries in the Waiting Pool?
To keep the draw as fair as possible, you may only enter your name in the Waiting Pool once. Our system regularly screens the pool and removes any duplicates.
Please note that the name you use when signing up for the Waiting Pool will be the same name that appears on your race card and bib. It will not be possible to change the name at a later point.
What am I allowed to sell my bib for?
It is not possible to choose your own price. All bibs will be listed at DKK 799 - same price as when the bib was originally purchased.
Be aware, that you cannot sell your bib if you won it in a competition, received it as a gift from your employer, purchased it through a travel agency, or similar.
