One Mile

You’ll race through a course packed with spectators, music, and electric energy from the very first step to the last. Never has a mile felt so long — and never has time flown by so fast.

So come and get swept up in the wild World Championship atmosphere, as thousands of cheering fans push you toward the finish line — and your own World Championship medal.

5 km

There’s a reason why the 5K is one of the world’s most popular race distances. It’s short enough to feel manageable — but just long enough to push your limits, both physically and mentally.

The key to a great time lies in finding that perfect balance between speed and endurance. This makes it an unforgettable experience — for both runners and spectators. At the World Championships in Copenhagen, you’ll get a flat, fast, and scenic course bursting with energy.

The race kicks off on the wide Østerbrogade, sweeps across Trianglen, loops around Østre Anlæg, and returns along the city lakes — before delivering a roaring finish line celebration in Fælledparken.

From start to finish, you’ll run through a tunnel of cheering fans, live music, and pure race-day vibes. You’ll feel like the star of the show. The world’s fastest runners will be flying across the pavement without stopping for a single sip.
