Sensory packs
The 2024 World Athletics Indoor Championships is set to be an exciting, action-packed event. We appreciate that for some, this can be a difficult environment. To help make your experience as enjoyable as possible, we offer a sensory pack sponsored by World Athletics partner ASICS, which are available free of charge. These are primarily for children and adults with autism and other sensory processing disorders.
Each pack contains a tangle toy, fidget spinner, stress ball, sunglasses, and foam seat pad. Please note, these packs are subject to availability. Packs can be collected from the information point in the main concourse on level 3.
Quiet space
We have a quiet room available that is away from the main crowd, with reduced noise and lighting if the environment becomes too much. Please speak to your nearest volunteer or steward to request access to this space.
Strobe lighting and special effects
There will be no smoke effects, strobe lighting or pyrotechnics used during the event, however there will be live music played during the sessions. Ear defenders can be provided free of charge from our information point in the main concourse on level 3.
