Defending champions Kelsey-Lee Barber and Eleanor Patterson lead Australia’s 67-strong team for the World Athletics Championships Budapest 23 taking place between 19-27 August.
Barber will be on the hunt for a hattrick in the women’s javelin after retaining her title in Oregon last year, while Patterson will seek more success in the women’s high jump.
They will be joined by teammates including high jump world leader Nicola Olyslagers, world pole vault bronze medallist Nina Kennedy and national record-holders Ash Moloney and Jessica Hull.
